Updated: Jan 3, 2023

This is a staple in the raw food world. It is a source of calcium, Biotin, vitamin E, B2, copper, potassium and manganese. They also lowers LDL cholesterol!

1 cup raw almonds

4 cups water

Soak almonds in filtered water overnight. Drain and place in blender with 4 cups water. Blend until smooth. Strain through a nut bag (I use a painters bag it's the same thing but cheaper).

variations: add a couple of soaked dates when blending for sweetness, Vanilla bean for flavor or tumeric and dates and numeg for "golden milk"
