Apple crisp

A healthier version of a classic

Apple crisp

2 -1/2 cups apples, peeled, cored and sliced

1 cup organic whole wheat flour

1 cup turinado sugar (raw sugar)

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup butter or ghee

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Lightly grease an 8" square pan with coconut oil or ghee
Arrange apples on bottom of pan
Stir together all the dry ingredients
Cut butter into dry ingredients until there is a course cornmeal consistency.
Sprinkle mixture on top of apples
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown.
