Green Pea Pilaf

1 cup rice

1 T cumin

1 T whole clove

A few cardamom seeds smashed

2-3 bay leaves

1-2 cups peas

saffron (optional blend it in a small amount of water before adding)

Saute’ spices in ghee. Add rinsed rice and sauté. Add water and cook until tender. Remove whole spices. Salt.
