Cranberry Avocado Salsa

Tart, spicy and sweet, this amazing dish is a great pairing with your holiday turkey or to spice up your vegetarian dish.


  • 1 12-ounce bag fresh cranberries

  • ¼ cup sugar (use a pinch of stevia if your avoiding white sugar)

  • ¼ cup orange juice

  • 1 orange bell pepper, diced

  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded, finely diced

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and diced


  1. In a food processor combine cranberries, sugar, and orange juice; pulse to coarsely chop berries.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine chopped berries, bell pepper, jalapeño.

  3. Add the avocado and gently stir to combine.

  4. Serve with chicken, pork, or your favorite tortilla chip.


Best served fresh.
